This a leg drive secret that can instantly guarantee you maximal leg drive, improve your bench arch and setup.
While in powerlifting we MUST have our hips be in contact with the pad or else we’ll catch those ⭕️ ⭕️ ⭕️ lights.
The secret here is to have our butt in contact with the pad but not have it bear weight onto the pad!
If I only had the top half of the pad to bench on it wouldn’t change my setup at all because I am not using the bottom half of the bench as a place to rest my hips!
